Prosperity is a combination of old and new. Founded in 1789, we hold fast to the truth of the Bible and traditional ways of delivering that truth.  Part of flourishing in God’s truth is reaching the community around us in Charlotte and beyond. Our focus is the Lord Jesus Christ. And we believe that as we follow Him our identity in Christ will fuel our service for Christ.  

And there’s an old command which we try to follow.  Jesus taught us to love one another just as He loved us. We believe that the loneliness and frustration people feel can be relieved by the fellowship of Christian friends.  Prosperity is a church that seeks to meet the spiritual and relational needs of families and individuals. We hold to ancient truths that we live out in new ways as we seek to honor God in this frenzied world.
